Loved your previous post - and isn't it the truth re. decorations. Every year when I go to my parents house I have to look for 1) the emaciated pipecleaner Santa clinging desperately to the tree; and 2) a rubber alien from Close Encounters tucked in the branches, usually decked out with christmas ribbon or some such thing. This year mum hung bells around his neck. The alien is a newer tradition started when my parents were in England over Xmas for my gran's funeral & my brothers and I had free reign. In typical teen (sacreligious) fashion, the tree-topping star was discarded and replaced by the Alien, in crucifix formation. He still makes it on the tree, just in a more...appropriate...place ;-) xoxJ
