today we marched. for so many reasons.

it was a beautiful, kind, loving, peaceful, funny, poignant, adventurous day. from the public transit ride from the sfv to downtown to the "march" with 750,000, to the ride home. what a gift to share this with our girls. #thefutureisfemale

meet the newest member of our family.

she was the 10,000 shelter rescue by loving all animals, hence the name - but we call her just "kay"

she's a loving but shy two-year-old basenji mix. and we are all smitten. (especially the girls.)
