it has been 9 years today since he passed away. every day i think of him. he taught me the value of community. and the importance of family. and the grace of unconditional love.
Dear Tracy, This is my first time to write to you though I had wanted to do so for a long time since I ran into your site a few year ago. I've enjoyed your blog---from the parenthood (I have an almost 7 yrs old girl), your artistic mind (I once had a job for which I was called an art director), thoughts for our earth, beautiful photos, and many more. I quickly decided to write today because I learned that your father passed away on the same day as my father did. My father passed away a year ago in Tokyo were I grew up. I've lived in LA for the past 20+ years. I'll close here before it gets too long and before I get too emotional. Thank you for letting me stop by :-)
two days late because i've been flattened by a horrible head cold. but thought about your dad on valentine's and knew this anniversary was coming up. he was a lovely man and i do think of him often. big hug to you, my friend. xo c.
