on the road...

we are off on our annual summer adventure. so grateful for this time together as a family - and for the destination that awaits us.

the journey too. we uploaded a couple of audiobooks and lots of embroidery thread for friendship bracelets.

while others have complained to me about the I5 - I love it. the gradual change in scenery. the varying crops: almonds, rice, sunflowers... the trucks full of produce from this central valley. i love that the girls know the milestones along the way. there is comfort in the familiarity of it all.
