H is for Hawk is on my reading list. What did you think? Given that I have a limited amount of time for pleasure reading these days, should it be near the top or bottom of my pile?
Helen Macdonald reminded me that, as an only child, I will be the one to speak at my parents' memorials. A very unsettling thought all the way around. Her book is beautifully written.
