What a crazy question! On Friday, I was just mulling over a package of loofah seeds and finally put them back deciding that it was too late in our short season to start growing them now. But I'm going to grow them next year. If you try them this year, you have to let me know how it goes.
oh how i love that we are in sync even in the garden! (do you know the best time to plant them? it is already pretty hot here...) xo
Chickens? Loofahs? Oh what else might your garden grow! ;-) Now, if you need help growing horsetails or buttercups, I'm your gal ;)
Love the house interview blog - great stuff! Noticed the Heritage society here puts on a mid-century modern house tour as well as the heritage one I just went on. Made me think of you!
congratulations! what great pictures! and i'm glad a picture of my all-time favorite chair made it in...
Great interview. I've seen the loofah in catalogs but never tried it.
lovely interview on cookie, tracy!
can't help with the loofah, but I found your blog from the cookiemag site & just wanted you to know I love your style & your photos are delicious!
thanks for sharing your world & encouraging the rest of us...
when I was growing up we grew them in the backyard. you can cook & eat them like zucchini.
You can never have to many pool shots! Or palm tree shots for that matter ;o)
LOVE the cookie house thing!!!
oh wow, congratulations on the magazine feature! it's been hot up here...the pool sounds dreamy.
ps- I have those bowls too! :)
seeing your pad in cookie was amazing! gives me ideas to email them with my house, although it is a mess 24/7 at the moment. good job!
wonderful!
we so want to see it all in person one day!!
I think you can just plant them, but here in Mani-snow-ba, they would have to be started indoors well in advance. You should have a long enough growing season to start them in the ground even now. Working tonight, so will find out full details and let you know!
Congratulations on the Cookie feature! Your house always looks so fantastic. I love the birdfeeder!
I love the little bunny bowls. I saw them in a local store, but passed them up. I now regret that.
I so love your home, so many family friendly elements blended with just the right amount of cool, beautiful. (I feel like I tell you that once a week at least.)
I love the pool shots (because we don't/can't have one in cold scotland!)
so wonderful seeing your home in cookie! there were some new pictures there for me that I loved seeing...like that egg chair! how did I not know you had one of those!
congratulations!
