Thank you for the article link - at this time of year it's such a thoughtful message. Also, thanks for the sock links...I sure hope we can amend the "have only what you need" to include making things we want with our own hands. Without that I know I'd go entirely crazy (plus I'm thinking of knitting up legwarmers, they seem less daunting than socks, but you should definitely try some!)
