blame it on this cold that keeps on giving. and very little sleep.
and a terrible case of homesickness to boot. (why would i be missing
manitoba in february?) so i have booked tickets to take the girls home in june. it is my little hometown's 125th birthday for goodness sake - how could we miss that party?
hope the weekend proves to be more productive. it will certainly be inspiring as we plan on taking in
lisa's opening on saturday.
hope you enjoy your weekend

Have fun at the opening!
Feel better soon. I'm thinking of you ... xo.
If that was your fot that got that ball up there, man, can you kick!
And hello? I'm a native Manitoban myself, although we moved to the coast when I was a wee babe, so I don't miss it much.
Wise of you to book in JUNE and not NOW! My cousin writes to me from there regularly and brrrrrrr, just her e mails make me shiver!
I really hope you feel better soon. I've got a cold as well as also feeling homesick. I'm still over here in Dracula land and dreaming of spring in Canada....
Is the ball out of the tree yet?
great photo! .... feel better ....
give a big hug to lisa c!!!!
Sickness of both sorts. Not fair. Feel better soon lovely - I'm sure that planning a trip home has helped!
And nice catch Mr. Tree!
xoj
Feel better soon. Give someone you love a great big hug. At least, thats what helps me when I'm the color blue. Hope it helps.
hi tracy,
hope you had fun at lisa's opening. i really like this photo. i love that you are returning home for your town's 125th bday. so wonderful. i also hope you are feeling a bit better. hugs, shari
we went super early to the opening, it was so cool meeting lisa, she was super nice! i should have tried to meet up with you too, but it was such a last minute thing. i had to bring the girls, babysitting fell thru last minute, so we were really pushing it with lizzie (so much cool stuff for her to get into!) she made a bit of a scene, to me at least!
I hope you had a good weekend and are feeling better! Yes, Canada in June sounds so much nicer than Canada in February. Actually, the only place that sounds nice in February is some Caribbean island. :)
thanks all! the ball in the tree is one of many on the big bug's schoolyard. once the leaves fell they all were revealed...!
How could you not miss Canada in winter? The girls and I just tobogganed home from art class and tonight we'll settle in with blankets and read while we eatch the snow fall.
I am not one to begrudge the winter, truthfully I don't kow what I'd do without well defined seasons, the sense of change and novelty is fantastic for the motivation.
