Hey Trace....the flowers look so GOOD. It's fun to watch them grow like that, huh? I would love to have a huge painting (like the one in the background - did D do that?) in my house, it looks really great. Unfortunately we don't have any rooms big enough to hold one :o( Besides I always visioned myself doing the painting, but I don't know if I could pull it of!
I just love everything about thus shot! And whie I'm more of a Craftsman girl myself there is the rare modern home that is so warm and inviting, such a work of social art, that makes me think I must have a split personality. Your house is one.
i can't get over how great that bathroom is. i have one question?? where in the world do you buy cork for your floors? how do you put it down? love it!!
thanks so much e. you captured something i have had trouble putting into words...
as for a source for cork, we ordered ours through http://www.jelinek.com/. it is fairly easy to install. prep (as with everythingi suppose) is the most important part. feel free to email me if you would like more info...
It's so true. You're making it yours. I'm undergoing the same process. Tackling the kitchen next and then the bathroom. And I can comletely relate to your thoughts on baseboard. I have a pile of it sitting in my living room.
