a day at the beach. i could watch the surfers all day.
i think the sea provides the same sense of calm that standing in a prairie field brings me. something about that horizon line...

when we got home, we watched National Velvet. i was so happy that they loved it as much as i do. (the scene where Mi tells Donald the story about the paper horse was so similar to The Black Stallion ... we wonder...)

you just mentioned surf camp, and then this evening our friends were suggesting a beach weekend with surfing instructions. i'd love to try! full wetsuit required in these waters! but how fun!
i wish surf camp was for me :) next year perhaps. or maybe some sup classes when we are up north. can't wait to hear about your adventure. xo
