while the interior of the 750 year old castle was not open to the public while we were there - the gardens were spectacular, including a rock garden, vegetable garden, and wildflower garden. and of course there were more chooks (and bees and sheep).
the girls walked at least 4 miles today. dinner at the pub and off to bed.

Have that farm on my radar! So cool! Last year we went to the isle of wight for a week and the kids still say that walking in the pasture with the cattle (babies) on our way to the beach was their favorite part of the trip. We did it every day we were there.
