and i am not any good at doing nothing either. i worry that if i start doing nothing it will be too difficult for me to return to something.
in further conversation i was told that one should not attempt to discover the nothingness behind you (ayin) without a guide as if it is reached, you may be lost. so there we go.

My god, I'm like that too. I can't sit still...I have to be doing something and Mark gets really p***ed at me because I can't just sit down to watch a movie for a couple of hours. If I do I have to be doing something.
And, knitting, yes, trance, like, state.

Nothing is hard. Especially for us creative types whose minds run so rapidly...
