crazy weather

stormy sky

this was the sky looking east this morning. the new banner, the same flock of {canadian} geese, looking west.

finally watched an inconvenient truth all the way through. {it was a holiday gift from my conspiracy theory loving husband.}

thinking about moving to higher land. d suggests the top of mt. galiano.

i'm thinking higher.

any suggestions?

Let's see...well, I climbed Mt. Fuji and that was really high...Plus, you have the added advantage that Japan is gorgeous and the food spectacular...yup, I think I'd choose Mt. Fuji. There's even little restaurants and shops on the path (with oxygen tanks just in case)and a monastery/shrine at the top. What more could you need? :)

Follow those geese! Ok, when they come back follow them. The North Shore mountains are pretty high & we'd love to have you.

Hi Tracy, those geese are amazing.

Forgive me for what I'm about to do...

I am going to tag you for 6 weird things. Hope you want to do it.

RULES: People who get tagged need to write a blog post of 6 weird things about them as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. Don't forget to leave a comment that says "you are tagged" in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

I agree with bunklelife, the NS is where its at. In fact my neighbourhood may be a valley but in ten minutes you're hiking in the mountains or peering into the canyon. On snowy days you could swear you're in Aspen its so pretty. And just a ferry ride away from all of the islands including Galiano! Also lots of mid century ranchers here just waiting for a modern reno!
